SEMINARIO ERASMUS +

Martedì 13 ottobre il responsabile del progetto e il DSGA  hanno partecipato al seminario di formazione  organizzato dall'Agenzia Nazionale Erasmus+.

Il seminario si è svolto a Napoli presso  lo storico  Convitto Vittorio Emanuele II.

Sono stati illustrati i temi di maggior interesse per l'attuazione dei progetti KA1. Lo staff dell'Agenzia Nazionale ha anche risposto alle  domande dei numerosi partecipanti.

Our two weeks passed so quickly! We had great time at NILE. We improved our English and learnt lots of new things.

OUR LEARNER DIARIES COLLECTION

NILE LIBRARY

During our staying at NILE we were allowed to borrow books from the wonderful NILE LIBRARY. It is rich of lots of interesting books  very useful for teachers and pupils.

REFLECTIVE TEACHER

John quoted Dewey to introduce the 21st century skills “if we teach today’s students as we taught yesterday’s, we rob them of tomorrow”

We discussed about innovation from different point of view.

John gave us lots of ideas and inputs to face innovation at school.
He was for us a good example of  "reflective teacher" .

OUR PRESENTATIONS

Each teacher, during her training at NILE, has updated daily a learner diary to practice writing and reflect on her improvement. The learner diaries have been created using SLIDES in GOOGLE DRIVE. Last day of our course we introduced our presentation to our teachers John and Stephen and to our colleagues

VOCABULARY REVISION

Our teacher Stephen Harris proposed a nice review about "survival" expressions

LEARNING BY WALKING !!

We explored lots of activities to engage pupils in the lessons.   This walking activity is very useful "to keep pupils on their toes"

JOHN LESSON

We had 5 hours of lessons every day, exploring grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation,trying to be fluent in speaking. Thank to our teacher JOHN McMAHON  this hard work became  a pleasure

USEFUL TOOLS

TONY PRINCE, our ICT teacher, introduced lot of useful tools to create effective lessons

GOLF COURSE

Learning English by playing golf is really a pleasure!

LIVING IN NORWICH

NORWICH      is a wonderful city with its mix of  past and present along the streets and in the city centre

WORKSHOPS

NILE organized three different workshops, all three very interesting

Social activity: river Wensum cruise

A nice boat cruise along the river Wensum passing by the  old part of Norwich. In just one hour we passed  over  centuries of history

QUASI CI SIAMO....

Manca poco alla partenza delle prime 13 docenti dell'Istituto Comprensivo Assisi 3. Domenica  mattina partiranno per Norwich (UK) dove frequenteranno un corso per l'apprendimento della lingua inglese presso il centro di formazione per docenti  NILE . Il corso della durata di 2 settimane prevede la promozione delle 4 abilità linguistiche e la conoscenza della metodologia CLIL. Dopo le lezioni mattutine e pomeridiane le docenti avranno l'opportunità di conoscere la lingua e la cultura inglese anche attraverso attività sociali nella città e nei dintorni e alloggiando in famiglie del posto

Abbiamo creato il logo che accompagnerà il progetto GLOCAL EDUCATION FOR 2020 durante i suoi 2 anni di attuazione. Riassume graficamente l'aspirazione dell'Istituto Comprensivo Assisi 3 di proiettarsi a livello internazionale, pur rimanendo fermamente ancorato alle istanze locali che emergono dal territorio.
